Alternatively, if you prefer to travel by public transport, you can take the train to Ostellato station and then catch a bus from there to the lido; there are various bus connections between the Seven Lidi throughout the year. In summer, special bus routes are also organised that connect Bologna to the Ferrara lidi in just over two hours.
